Insurance and Payment Options
In-Network Insurance: We directly bill major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Regence, UMR, GEHA, Optum, Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare, and Evernorth. You are responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible at the time of service.
Self-Pay Rates & Good Faith Estimates: Clear self-pay options are available for uninsured or out-of-network clients. Every self-pay client receives a Good Faith Estimate detailing all visit costs prior to scheduling, pursuant to the federal No Surprises Act.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
- Complete Cost Clarity :You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits.
- Provided in Advance : Ensure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your medical service or item is provided.
- Dispute Protection : If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Save Your Copy : Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.

Couples & Family Sessions
We verify your benefits before your session. However, you can also call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your “outpatient mental health telehealth benefits.”
Yes. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can be used to pay for co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay session fees.
If we are out-of-network, you can pay our standard self-pay rates. Upon request, we can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
All co-pays, coinsurance, or self-pay fees are collected on the day of your appointment via your card on file.
In-network insurance plans cover standard evaluation and management codes for visits, regardless of whether a controlled substance is prescribed.
General & Administrative Questions
No. We believe in total financial transparency. All fees are outlined in your intake paperwork and Good Faith Estimate prior to care.
If an insurance claim is denied, our billing team will review the claim. If the denial stands, you will be responsible for the balance or adjusted self-pay rate as outlined in our financial policies.
We accept insured and self-pay clients who are physically located in Texas, New Mexico, and Washington.
Your Good Faith Estimate is provided automatically in your secure portal during the initial intake process before your first scheduled visit.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room. Telehealth services and billing policies apply to non-emergency outpatient care.
