Accessibility Statement

At NewGen Psychiatry, PLLC, led by Reginald Ibe, PMHNP-BC, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility and inclusive care for all individuals, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and virtual healthcare services.

1. Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

We strive to ensure that our website and patient portals conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines outline how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological preferences.

  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Text, headings, and visual elements are structured to support assistive software and screen readers.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Core site functions, contact forms, and scheduling portals are designed to be accessible via standard keyboard inputs.

  • Readable Visuals & Contrast: Color choices and text sizes are selected to ensure high readability and contrast across all devices.

2. Telehealth & Communication Accessibility

Because our practice operates exclusively via online telehealth, we ensure our remote care services accommodate diverse client needs:

  • HIPAA-Compliant Encrypted Platforms: Live video and audio sessions are hosted on secure, user-friendly digital platforms requiring standard web browsers or accessible mobile applications.

  • Alternative Communication: Clients may contact our practice via phone or text message for scheduling, intake assistance, or general inquiries.

  • Adolescent & Guardian Assistance: For minor clients or individuals requiring care assistance, authorized parents, legal guardians, or designated support persons are welcome to participate in care coordination as permitted by law.

3. Accessible Care Coverage Area

Our virtual services are accessible to clients physically located within our licensed service states:

  • Texas

  • New Mexico

  • Washington

4. Feedback & Accessibility Assistance

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and digital services. If you experience any difficulty accessing content, navigating our site, or completing online intake forms, please let us know so we can assist you and provide alternative formats.
